The Helen O’Grady Drama Academy is the English Speech and communication Programme, largest of its kind in the world.

The courses offered are academic year classes, vacation workshops, short duration packages, teacher training modules and corporate training modules. Each lesson of the Helen O’Grady curriculum is specific and unique which makes it possible for a student to attend our weekly classes for 15 years without repeating a single lesson.

Helen O Grady Drama Academy imparts Speech and Communication Skills using the unique medium of Drama. There are 1500 branches spread across 25 countries.

We started in India very humbly with a group of 50 students and two centers in Mumbai. We had five centers and 300 students at the end of the first year. Forward looking schools gave us a break and we jumped to 2000 students the next year. Today we have over 10,000 students spread throughout India with thirty franchisees operating in various cities.

Founder:

The Helen O’ Grady Drama Academy was founded in Perth, Australia, in 1979 by Helen O’ Grady. She is the creator of the Helen O’Grady Drama System which is used globally by Licensed Providers. Prior to establishing the Academy, Helen qualified as a teacher had worked extensively in children’s television as a presenter and procedure, and also as a professional actress. Helen’s unique achievements were recognized by conferring on her an honorary Fellowship (F.T.C.L.) the highest academic Qualification awarded by the Trinity College, London.

Our company, Govind Knowledge Ventures Pvt. Ltd is the sole license provider of the acclaimed Helen O’Grady Drama System in India. Govind Knowledge ventures forms a part of the Govindram Seksaria Group of Companies, an old and reputed business house of Mumbai. The group is involved in several philanthropic and charitable activities, an Engineering and Management college in Indore as well as several other educational institutions throughout India. Apart from education we are also into Property Development, Investments and Finance.
