Jawed Habib’s BeautyXpreso, a new brand from the Jawed Habib Group, intends to target the lower and middle sections of the society by providing beauty and hair services at economical prices, with the assurance of an established brandname.

Q1.  I know nothing about managing a Salon/ hair-styling /Beauty Services/ product 

         Retailing/ marketing/ managing people/ customer handling. Will the Jawed

         Habib’s BeautyXpreso Franchise be suitable for me?

 

A.       Yes. Our franchising system, presupposes that a franchisee does not have any kind of prior knowledge of managing a salon or a retail outlet. Our team through a systematic training program will train the franchisee as to how to manage man, money and time.

The franchisees technical team will already have been Jawed Habib’s Beauty & Hair Academy’s pre-certified technicians and the retail marketing staff will be trained for promotion and selling. Through a regular training program all concerned will be trained tested and certified to uphold the brand and manage patron and customer experiences.

The S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedures Manual) will define everything clearly as to how to operate a very successful BeautyXpreso Franchise Unit. The S.O.P. will be more like a well written recipe book that explains a novice cook about ingredients, processes and timings. No element of the franchisee’s business is left to a chance.

The franchisee recruitment program will select franchisees carefully for aptitude and fit. This way the probabilities for success will be enhanced to the optimum possible.

Q2.  How much do I need to invest in my business?

A.       The total investment for taking up a BeautyXpreso franchise is Rs.21.50 Lac. However, the franchisee will need to raise only a part of the investment as the franchisor will help the franchisee raise the balance amount (upto 75% of the investment) from various nationalized banks.

 

Q3.  Will I qualify for a business loan?

A.       Yes. You will need to demonstrate your ability for raising the margin money, willingness to operate your unit (micro management is by the franchisee and macro management is by the franchisor).

 

Q4.  How will I repay the Bank Loan?

A.       Repayment of Bank Loan is automated. The Franchisee will need to deposit their daily Cash/Credit Card earnings in an ESCROW Unique Bank account. The bank will deduct their EMI and transfer balance money to the Franchisees account.

 

Q5.  How safe is my Investment?

A.       Your investment is safe as you can sell your franchise at a premium retaining any earned profit on the sale of the franchise. Besides 40% of investment is held as Refundable Deposits. Balance 60% investment is backed by moveable tangible asset and intangible transferable rights. Hence the CAPEX is 100% safe.

 

 Q6.  How much profit can I expect to earn?

  A.   Sky is the limit. As a Beauty Xpreso Franchisee you have five revenue streams as
          follows.

a.       Hair Treatment & Hair Cuts (Hair Services)

b.      Beauty Treatments and Services.

c.       Students enrolled for Jawed Habib Hair Academy, Clipso Academy (Malaysia), A.E.T. (Australia) more are being added.

d.      From sale of Hair Care Product range which would include Natural and Herbal Cosmetics, Hair Pieces, Wigs, Hair Brushes, Combs, Hair Dryers, Hair-pin etc.

e.       Commission earned by sale of Hair Xpreso Franchisee, Beauty Xpreso Franchisee, Jawed Habib’s Beauty Academy Franchisee.

The management of BeautyXpreso will make its best efforts so that the Franchisee earns more than Rs 50,000/- per month after the 2^nd year itself. However a lot depends upon the selected location and the interest a franchisee takes in nurturing his/her own business. A good strategically located Mall or a high-street location with a caring franchisee should earn upward of 60% Return on Investment as scope for earning is only limited by the sky.

 

Q7.  How will I manage my operations?

1. You can remote manage your salon as all MIS systems are well designed to report on  Finance, Production(hair and beauty services) and marketing transactions backed live CCTV monitoring. We have designed a web based system that allows you to be present 24X7.   Product supply s based on JIT from our central warehouse .We do not book profit at source but only at top line i.e. on sales receipt. Almost all functions are automated, so you require minimal time to manage your business.

 

Q8. Once my full loan is repaid, how much money can I take home?

A.   In our conservative estimation you should take home upwards of Rs 100,000/-
